Assembly Language is a low level programming language. Assembly language is machine dependent. The Intel 8086 was the first CPUs to have an instruction set which are now referred to as x86. Assembly language is hard to learn initially but once you understand how it works it becomes much easier.

Assembly language is machine specific, in our case specific to Intel Processor. Assembly Lanauge are used for detailed and time-critical applications such as code for device drivers, real time embedded system or operating system kernels.
